I think it would be really neat to get to know him. Maybe we could be friends. 

I painted about 5 backgrounds before I settled on this one. I painted for the first time in a while, which felt good, especially since I didn't trace or draw with pencils before painting. I just jumped in and I think it's alright. 

I used some stills from the Doctor Who episode "Vincent and the Doctor" and some of van Gogh's own paintings as reference. I kind of wanted to make his face more gaunt, but that's okay.
